  4. Read the fine print and make sure you will own your website and all content once you have paid the invoice.

Search Engine Optimisation is not a once-off activity, doing it once won’t make a lot of difference, to really get the phone ringing, you need to work on it consistently so the google bots can assess and rank your site according to their algorithm. Depending on your market, the competitiveness will determine where you rank on any given day.

And just because you rank well one week, doesn’t mean you will next week.

Don’t think of doing Google Ads until your site has been optimised or you will be wasting your money.  Why?  If you create an ad that points to a page that is not optimised, the Google Ad Bots will rate your ad vs page quality as poor and your ad will not perform well for you.
